Heather, ‘HG’, is responsible for sourcing, executing, supporting, and leading investment and is based in San Francisco. She focuses on backing technical founders pursuing opportunities in non-obvious markets, with a particular interest in those pursuing complex technological innovations. HG leads the fund’s investments at the intersection of the hard sciences and AI, including biotechnology, materials science, and physics, as well as supporting AI infrastructure and hardware acceleration impacting compute and power. Prior to joining Flying Fish, HG held roles at JP Morgan Technology Banking, ON Semiconductor, and Tesla. HG has also spent time working on the open-source Hyperloop Project for universities. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her two dogs and working towards her private pilot’s license.
